Welcome to the Parish Engagement Weekend of our Renewal Program!

This week celebrates the role of OLHC Parish as a welcoming community of faith – a place of care, support and outreach – with a clear mission to live the values of the Gospel.  That means we all have a responsibility to use our gifts and talents for the benefit of others.  So please be involved in one of our Groups and Ministries – either for the first time or in a continuing role.  Your involvement will be personally rewarding and a great contribution to our vibrant parish. Copies of the Groups and Ministries form will be distributed at all Masses and available on the parish website and Facebook.  This weekend we will hear from committed parishioners, who will share with us the impact of Faith and OLHC Parish in their lives.  We thank them for doing so!

A reminder of the special Parishioner Forums this weekend – a key part of the Renewal Program.  Hosted by Stephen from Parish First, and running for just 30 mins, they will commence immediately after each of the five Masses.  Please join us and add your voice to the discussion.

Q:  Why is it important to be actively engaged in parish Groups & Ministries?

“For our parish community to function effectively, it requires more than just the parish staff and our priests. We as a community need to be fully engaged with all aspects of parish life for our community and faith to thrive.”

“My faith has given me so much and being actively involved in our Parish is my way of giving back

“It gives life to our faith and builds parish community – we are the parish.”
